April 9, 2009 - Oklahoma Blood Institute's very own Dr. Jean Forsberg participated in the "Doctor of the Day" program at the Oklahoma State Capitol. The citation was presented to her by Representative Guy Liebmann.

Area Blood Donors' Gift to Help Uninsured

March 12, 2009 - Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) donors' recent support of uninsured Oklahomans has produced great results. During January, donors, who gave blood at the OBI center in Ardmore and area mobile blood drives, could choose to forgo receiving the typical donation thank you item in favor of OBI making a contribution of similar value to the Good Shepherd Medical and Dental Clinic in Ardmore.

April 1, 2009 - Oklahoma Blood Institute donors' recent support of uninsured Oklahomans has produced great results. During January, donors, who gave blood at the OBI centers and mobile blood drives in the Oklahoma City-area, could choose to forgo receiving the typical donation thank you item in favor of OBI making a contribution of similar value to the Health Alliance for the Uninsured (HAU).
